Socially responsible citizen: [PSA Charitable Foundation]
During the September 21 earthquake in 2000, all colleagues enthusiastically participated in the disaster relief operations, which was an important beginning for PSA Huake's business group to participate in public welfare undertakings. Based on the fact that corporate citizens should bear social responsibilities, in 2002, Huaxin Technology became a member of the PSA Huake Business Group, and integrated the Cihui Society of PSA companies to establish a foundation, becoming an important platform for investing in social welfare. In 2007, it was officially renamed as "PSA Charitable Foundation".
The PSA Charitable Foundation, upholding the belief of giving back to society, integrating social resources, and maximizing resource utilization, has been dedicated to promoting services for disadvantaged children and the elderly for over a decade. It provides five major services: hearing care, volunteer participation, newspaper reading education, caregiver respite programs, and a friendly workplace. The foundation has donated over NT$73 million in hearing aids, cared for over a thousand hearing-impaired children, recruited over 3,500 volunteers, and provided hearing health support to over ten thousand elderly individuals. It is the foundation with the most hearing care services provided at community care centers in Taiwan. Through respite programs, it has helped over 100 caregivers recharge and move forward with renewed energy. The foundation also actively provides confidential and professional consulting and experiential services to employees within companies, aiming to help resolve organizational efficiency issues and personal problems affecting employee performance.
