Sustainability Issues

External sources for collecting information on major corporate issues include GRI Standards published by the Global Sustainability Standards Board (GSSB); internal sources include feedback from stakeholders through various channels.
To identify critical issues, Walsin Technology adopts a risk-oriented substantive analysis model and follows three assessment criteria: "stakeholders to whom the issue is to be communicated", "the degree of stakeholder concern about the issue", and "the degree of impact of the issue on the company's achievement of strategic objectives". This ensures that the information disclosed in this report meets the needs of both the company and its stakeholders.
Walsin Technology distributed questionnaires to different stakeholders and senior management to assess the level of concern and the impact of these issues on the company. Based on the returned questionnaires, cross-analysis was conducted to select the top 25% of high-risk items (those with both high level of concern and high impact) as the major issues to be disclosed in this report. However, based on the principle of prudence, only information within the organization will be disclosed for each major issue, and information from external units will not be disclosed at this time.
