Affected by ongoing inventory reduction in the laptop and consumer electronics industries and persistently weak end-user demand, Walsin Technology's global consolidated net revenue in April was NT$2.75 billion, a decrease of 1.3% compared to March and a decrease of 21.8% compared to April last year. Overall cumulative revenue decreased by 20.3% compared to the same period last year.

With the return to normal working days in March, despite weak demand, Walsin Technology's global consolidated net revenue for March was NT$2.78 billion, an increase of 7.7% compared to February, but a decrease of 20.5% compared to March last year, and an overall cumulative revenue decrease of 19.8% compared to the same period last year.

Despite the lingering impact of COVID-19 and high inflation on end-user demand, Walsin Technology's global consolidated net revenue for February was NT$2.58 billion, a 4.9% increase from January but an 8.7% decrease compared to February of last year. Overall cumulative revenue decreased by 19.4% year-on-year.

Despite weak overall end-user demand, Walsin Technology's global consolidated net revenue for January was NT$2.46 billion, a slight increase of 3.8% compared to December 2022. This increase can be attributed to customers ordering ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday and the easing of the COVID-19 outbreak in mainland China. However, global consolidated net revenue for January decreased by 28.2% compared to the same period last year, and overall cumulative revenue also decreased by 28.2% year-on-year.

In addion to the fewer working days during the Christmas holidays and year-end inventory checking, the producon capacity of the Mainland China factory was also affected due to the rise of confirmed COVID-19 cases. With overall demand sll weak, Walsin Technology's December global consolidated net sales totaled NTD $2.37 Billion. Sales went down by 11.4% from November. The company's YoY sales decreased by 19.1%, while the YTD cumulave revenue of Walsin Technology was also down by 16.1%.

Affected by fewer working days during the Golden Week holidays in Mainland China and the weak overall demand out of concerns about high inventory levels, Walsin Technology’s October global consolidated net sales totaled NTD $2.45 billion. Sales went down by 11% from September. Sales decreased by 14.2% compared with the corresponding period of the preceding year. YTD cumulative revenue of Walsin Technology decreased by 15.8% when compared to the same period in 2021.

As the destocking processes gradually ended, customers in China resumed goods pulling in in November to cope with the COVID control measures imposed by local authorities. Walsin Technology’s November global consolidated net sales totaled NTD $2.68 billion. Sales went up by 9.3% from October. Sales decreased by 16.1% compared with the corresponding period of the preceding year. YTD cumulative revenue of Walsin Technology decreased by 15.8% compared to the same period in 2021.

Although inventory remains high and overall demand is slow, some customers initiated advanced shipment pull-in as a prep before the golden week holidays. As a result, Walsin Technology’s September global consolidated net sales totaled NTD $2.75 billion. Sales went slightly up by 4.3% from August. Walsin Technology’s Sales decreased by 19.9% compared with the corresponding period of the previous year. YTD cumulative revenue of Walsin Technology also reduced by 15.9% compared to the same period of 2021.
